Killer Guitar Solo from George Cintron – Music Of Led Zeppelin

I was lucky enough to see the Music of Led Zeppelin show featuring the Northwest Indiana Symphony on Feb 9, 2010. What an awesome show! Check out this YouTube video I posted of the great guitar solo from the concet

I am sick of being LIED TO…

You know who you are and what you do to people…. You hurt them for your own gain. You will hurt me no more. I am DONE….

And on that note, I will list what I am feeling grateful for, so I can snap out of this pissed off mood….

I am grateful for:

* My beautiful daughter
* Memories of my son
* My hard working husband
* My mom for always helping me out with my daughter
* TRUE friends
* My warm house
* Food in my fridge
* No war in my backyard
* A view of beautiful snowfall from my window while I type this
* My kitties
* The ability to read, write, think, walk, love
* the feeling of ambition
* the information I have gathered on my ancestors online
* living in the United States
* a full house for my January Scrapbook Retreat!

Searching for my ancestors….

I have been wanting to find out more about my family history and where I really come from, so after seeing many commercials on TV about ancestry.com, I decided to take the geneology plunge… Luckily for me, many others from my mother’s family have already compiled information that I can gather easily….  I found out that my grandfather’s mother’s side has been in the country (settled in Maryland) since 1654, only 34 years after the Mayflower came here!!  It is fascinating to me!

My Italian side is harder to find out, but I am anxiously awaiting a packet of info from my grandfather’s brother. I did happen to find some photos of the ships that some of my Di Napoli relatives sailed from Naples to Ellis Island on.

I never was interested in history in school, but now I wish I would have paid more attention. I am really enjoying uncovering the hidden treasures of my family history. I purchased the Family Tree 2010 Platinum edition and am anxiously awaiting the arrival of it, so I can really dive in to this!

Something new in my life…..

Ah, yes it has been a while since I last posted. A lot has developed since then!

I recently became a wedding officiant and have done several ceremonies thusfar. I am in NO WAY representing myself as a “Reverend” or anything of the sort and I won’t perform any ceremonies in a church setting. I just thought it would be a great way to unite people who love eachother and do not want all the “hoopla”.

My hubby has been very supportive and acts as my “assistant”. It is the greatest feeling to unite two people in love! Basically anyone can get ordained online for next to nothing, which amazes me, and it is all totally legal!

Here is a link to my website:

Below are some photos from the wedding I did last weekend on the beach:

A Digital Recipe Page

I am creating a digital family recipe book, with all of my relatives “famous” recipes. I am so excited that I actually have a few photos of them in the kitchen, so it should be pretty cool when I am done with it. I just want my daughter to have something from her heritage to hold dear and pass on after I am long gone. I am truly grateful for these photos and recipes, and I hope my daughter will be as well….

A few Digi Pages…

I am still trying to get the hang of Digital Scrapbooking… Here are a few pages I made over the last couple of days with the Creative Memories Storybook program. Most of the elements I used are not Creative Memories. I gathered tons of freebies online! The nice thing about this program, is you can incorporate other elements from outside sources, and add them to it.

The first two pages are from the scrapbook retreat I did in April, and the other one is just my daughter playing outside on one of the first nice days we had earlier this month…
