Ever since I was a kid I have loved OWLS. Kinda weird, I know. I have had this little bank ever since I was little. I think it is so darn cute! A few years ago I bought the little brown owl on eBay.
This gorgeous stuffed owl is one of a kind and is over 2 feet tall! It was handmade out of fleece and felt from a girl I met at a craft show several months ago. She had lots of different animals that she made for sale that day, but she said she had never made an owl before, let alone had a request for one!
I purchased the most adorable cat from her that day, and anxiously awaited my new Owl. In only 2 weeks I had her on my bed! Her name is “Clarice”. The girl who makes them names each one and lists a little story about the character as well. The cat that I bought from her is named “Edie”, cute, huh?
I love these retro Owl necklaces that are coming back in style! I have a few of them already and I just found some cool owl pendants at Jo-Anns to make into necklaces as well.

Great blog! I’ve been reading all of the posts and had to stop when I saw the owls. I remember these owl necklaces and I would “borrow” them from my mom when she wasn’t looking.
And… I just happened to be at Jo Ann’s Fabrics today!
